The SM7B is a dynamic microphone with a flat frequency range that was tailored for speech and vocals. It features full magnetic shielding to prevent interference from devices like computer screens and telephones, making it perfect for use in a studio environment. Background noise is countered by a bass roll-off filter, while handling noise is reduced by the special built-in 'air suspension' shock mount.
