England, made up of warring kingdoms, provides an ideal environment for capable Vikings who are skilled not only in agriculture and raiding but also in the noble art of combat. The gameplay mechanics also include a more versatile technique for dual-wielding combat, allowing for the use of various fighting styles. Furthermore, players can utilize the crews of their longships to conquer different regions and gather their riches. However, the Saxons, led by King Alfred of Wessex, do not make it easy for the Vikings and condemn these newcomers as godless heathens. Eivor must do everything possible to ensure the survival of his people.
